2. Terms and legal bases<\/h2>\n\n

Special categories of personal data<\/strong> are data concerning trade union, political, religious or philosophical views and activities, data concerning health, the intimate sphere or membership of an ethnic group or race, genetic data, biometric data that uniquely identify a natural person, data concerning criminal and administrative sanctions or prosecutions, and data concerning social assistance measures.<\/p>\n\n

Processing<\/strong> includes any<\/em> handling of personal data, regardless<\/em> of the means and procedures used, for example querying, comparing, adapting, archiving, retaining, reading, disclosing, obtaining, recording, collecting, deleting, revealing, arranging, organising, storing, modifying, disseminating, linking, destroying and using personal data.<\/p>\n\n

A data subject<\/strong> is a natural person about whom we process personal data.<\/p>\n\n

2.2 Legal bases<\/h3>\n\n

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection<\/a> (Data Protection Act, FADP) and the Ordinance on Data Protection<\/a> (Data Protection Ordinance, DPO).<\/p>\n\n

3. Nature, scope and purpose<\/h2>\n\n

We process the personal data that is necessary<\/em> to carry out our activities and operations in a permanent, user-friendly, secure and reliable manner. Such personal data may in particular fall into the categories of inventory and contact data, browser and device data, content data, metadata or marginal data and usage data, location data, sales data, and contract and payment data.<\/p>\n\n

We process personal data for the period<\/em> required for the respective purpose or purposes or as required by law. Personal data whose processing is no longer required will be anonymised or deleted.<\/p>\n\n
